What's your podcast of choice?

I trust you're well as we round out the first quarter of 2022.  Yes, I agree, weird to realize the year is moving right along at a pace we seldom appreciate.  To help keep me on pace and make adjustments, I do my best to do my WRAP process every week, month, and year.  (You can learn more about that here).  As I had mentioned to you previously, writing a book and doing more speaking is in my (not so distant) future.  So, what did I do to make progress, you ask?  I took action and did 2 frightening things.

One is, I signed up for a Speaker course with a long time mentor of mine, Blair Singer.  If you've ever been to one of our Momentum Weekend Events or just heard me speak, many pieces of that was engineered by what I learned waaaaay back in the day from him.  I'm going back to improve and step up my game.  Wish me luck.  lol

Two, and this is where you come in, I reached out to MicroFamous guru Matt Johnson to begin the process of launching a podcast. As you can expect, I have homework.  Here is the question that I have for you as a treasured part of the Momentum Tribe.  What Podcasts do you currently listen to?  How often?   Would you take 2 minutes to hit reply and fill me in?

In the meantime, I am honing in on the clear and compelling message we provide here to the Momentum Tribe.  If you are interested in sharing your input and perspective on that as well, I welcome all feedback.

To quote the philosopher LL Cool J, Don't call it a comeback, I've been here for years.

With love,
Spencer

The Bridge to Next Year - Your Q4 Focus

The calendar flips. The page turns. Another year ends, and a new one begins. Most people treat this transition like a hard reset. A magical switch. As if a new number on the date automatically wipes the slate clean and hands them a fresh start. It doesn't. Next year isn't magically better. It's built. It's constructed, brick by brick, by the choices you make now . Especially now. In this final quarter. The bridge from this year's potential to next year's guaranteed success isn't paved with resolutions made on January 1st. It's built with specific, non-negotiable actions taken in the eleventh hour. For me, that bridge is clear: onboarding 60 agents into the Productivity Coaching Program at Keller Williams Jacksonville and First Coast. It’s not just a number; it’s 60 new engines ready to fire, 60 seeds planted for exponential growth. It’s the foundational momentum that makes everything else possible. What is your bridge? What is the one, undeniable, criti...

The Conversation

The one happening right now. The one in your head. The one you’ve been having since you were a child. The relentless, ever-present monologue. This is the most important conversation you will ever have. It's the one that determines your choices, shapes your worldview, and sets your limits. But what if someone else was listening in? What if a friend, a mentor, or a loved one heard you talk to yourself the way you sometimes do? The criticism, the doubt, the dismissal of your own ideas, the harsh judgments. Would you let them? We set a standard for how others should treat us, for the kindness and respect we expect from them. We have a line. But when it comes to ourselves, the line often disappears. We allow a level of discourse—a kind of verbal abuse—that we would never, ever tolerate from another person. Your inner voice is not just a passenger; it's the pilot. And if you wouldn't trust someone else to talk to you that way, why would you let yourself? The conversation you'...

The Feeling of Progress

We can make a list. We can plan the week. We can block out the calendar. But the question isn't just "What?" The real question is "Why?" The "what" is the task. It's the meeting, the email, the first draft, the phone call. It's the hard work. But the "why" is the feeling. It's the quiet satisfaction of a completed task. The rush of momentum. The relief of getting started. The sense of control. The lightness that comes from doing the work instead of just thinking about it. That feeling is the fuel. It's the reason we show up tomorrow. It’s the feedback loop that reinforces the behavior. So, don't just ask what you must focus on. Also, ask what it will feel like when it's done. Describe the feeling. In detail. The feeling of the inbox at zero. The feeling of seeing the first paragraph on the page. The feeling of the difficult conversation having been had. Focus on the feeling first. The rest will follow. Your Coach,  Spe...
