You're not broken, you just need a better strategy

When I began coaching as a service, there was an interesting pattern that started to show up.  Some agents were really good at producing and just needed an adjustment in their mindset to move forward. Other agents approached the business with all the positivity of Stuart Smalley (if you weren't old enough to watch SNL in the 90"s, then you'll have to google him).  These agents had the mindset, just lacked the mechanics.  Basically, all will - no skill.  And before you tell me that will beats skill, I agree.  However I've yet to meet someone have a bag of money fall on their head because they willed it to themselves.  Moving forward requires mechanics along with that mindset.  Most agents were hungry for more, but they really struggled to create the alignment needed to move forward with power.  There was no system to diagnose and fix the issue.
After well over 10,000 hours of one on one time,  we began to see this relationship. I remember breaking out a flip chart and started to lay it all out on paper.  I first noted that if ultra productive agents were aligned in their mindset, mechanics, and movement, then what did that look like?  This is where the Qualified Champion (later called the MF Code) was born.

I took that model to a small group of business owners in 2019 in a 7 week process and we were amazed at the trajectory changes for those in attendance.  Some went on to open Insurance agencies, others built out massive coaching programs for their mortgage team, and everyone saw a spike in their overall production.

As the follow up conversations and results started to roll in, it was obvious this is something business owners crave.  The framework we were providing gave context to otherwise frustrated or burned out performers.  You can look across the coaching space and find plenty of mindset programs as well as How To programs.  Rarely, if ever, do those programs show how to marry them together.  The Unshakeable Agent (new name for the process) gives all of that and more.  It's a step by step guide for unlocking and creating an unshakeable business.

What an amazing story...

I’d love to hear from you about this. Would you say you lean more on your mindset or more on your mechanics?  Is your business more frustrating or is it burning you out?  Let's hear it.  Hit the comments below and let me know.

I've got something cool to share with you tomorrow,

Beyond Right and Wrong: The Power of Asking This Instead

Good morning from Raleigh! Happy Thursday, let's talk about a subtle shift in perspective that can have a big impact on our decision-making and interactions: Rather than thinking right or wrong, choose to look at effective and ineffective. We're often conditioned to frame things in binary terms: this is the right way, that's the wrong way. This can lead to rigid thinking, unnecessary conflict, and a resistance to exploring alternative approaches. But the world, especially the world of business, is rarely black and white. What truly matters isn't whether something aligns with a preconceived notion of "rightness," but whether it actually works . Is it achieving the desired outcome? Is it moving you closer to your goals? Is it fostering positive results? Think about it: Marketing strategies: Instead of arguing about which approach is inherently "right," focus on which one is generating the most leads and conversions. Team dynamics: Instead of labeli...

Beyond the Talk: How Your Business Results Expose Your True Standards

As we get into the rhythm of the week, let's focus on a truth that often gets overshadowed by what we say: Results reveal more about your standards than your rhetoric. It's easy to talk a big game. To articulate grand visions, promise exceptional quality, and declare unwavering commitment. Rhetoric – the art of persuasive speaking or writing – can be powerful in setting intentions and inspiring others. But ultimately, it's the tangible outcomes, the actual results your business produces, that truly expose the standards you operate by. Think about it: If you claim to prioritize customer satisfaction, what do your customer retention rates and feedback scores reveal? If you talk about quality products or services, what do your defect rates and customer complaints indicate? If you preach efficiency and innovation, what do your profit margins and the speed of your adaptation show? Your results are the unvarnished truth. They cut through the aspirational language and reveal t...

The Growth Ripple: Why Your Evolution Will Reshape Your Relationships

Good morning from Claxton, GA! As we kick off a new week, let's talk about a natural consequence of personal and professional growth that often surprises people: When you choose to grow, people around you will either step up or step out. Think about it. Growth isn't a solitary journey. As you evolve, your perspectives change, your priorities shift, and your energy levels may adjust. This creates a subtle but powerful ripple effect on the relationships in your life. Some people in your inner circle will be inspired by your growth. They'll be excited to see you expand your horizons and achieve new things. They'll step up, offering support, encouragement, and perhaps even embarking on their own growth journeys alongside you. These are the relationships that often deepen and become even more meaningful. However, others may find your growth challenging. Perhaps your new direction doesn't align with their own comfort zones or expectations. They might feel left behind, or ...
